What do you need to do?
Start with the job in front of you.
Not “prompt engineering” and not a tour of the tools. Pick the thing that is actually waiting: an awkward reply, next week's posts, a job listing nobody has written. Each one opens a short sequence, the prompts behind it, and a kit if the job is bigger than one message.
If the job is not here
Search the whole library by the words you would use on a bad day — “refund”, “schedule”, “inspection”, “no-show”. The trade pages are written in that language on purpose. Search all 3200 prompts.
In the news
What changed out there this week.
Rules, filing dates and regulator announcements that land on a small local business, read straight from the FTC, the IRS and the Federal Register. Each line carries the publisher's date and a link to the original. Nothing here is summarised, interpreted, or turned into advice.
Checking the FTC, the IRS and the Federal Register…
Not advice. A headline is not a plan, and this page does not give legal, tax, accounting, insurance or safety advice. The linked release is the authority; your accountant, lawyer or insurer is the person to ask what it means for you. A person reads hello@seconddraft.dev, so say so if something here is wrong or out of date.
