What the free samples did cover
- 3 complete prompts, in full, with no email required — a reply, a review response and a quote, so you can see three different jobs.
- The real format: labeled placeholders, an instruction to ask rather than invent, and assumptions to confirm.
- Two levels — a Starter reply and an Advanced review response — so you can see how the prompts change as the job gets harder.
Three is a deliberate limit. There are 3197 others, and giving them away would mean there was nothing left to sell. If you want to know which one fits your business before subscribing, the five-question quiz on the front page names it for you.
What's in the box besides the prompts
Prompts on their own are homework. These six documents are what turn them into a routine:
| Workflow guide | Every prompt with when to use it and the facts to have ready before you paste it. Generated from the same source as the prompts, so it can't drift. |
|---|---|
| Templates | Reusable skeletons for the five things you send most: customer replies, quotes, social posts, checklists, follow-up messages — plus review replies, staff briefs, phone scripts and make-it-right messages. |
| Worked examples | Three realistic weak outputs, exactly why each one fails, the one-sentence revision that fixes it, and what a person still had to change. |
| Quality checklist | Twelve checks in four groups — facts, claims, commitments, tone — plus a stop list of things not to send and a sign-off line. |
| Customization worksheet | Your tone, words you never use, services and prices, policies, and the ten questions you answer every week. Fill it in once and every prompt improves. |
| Setup session | A 30-minute first session you can run yourself: three real tasks, end to end, with a first-week plan and a note on what to send if something doesn't work. |
What they didn't cover
- The other 3197 prompts — the ones for the jobs you do weekly rather than occasionally.
- The workflow kits: the order of steps for a recurring task, a worked example, and the checklist to review against.
- The per-category files, so you can hand one section to a staff member.
- Updates and revisions after you subscribe.
The terms, before you decide
| Price today | $12.99 per month for the first three billing periods. |
|---|---|
| Then | $19.99 per month, on the same day each month, until cancelled. |
| When billing starts | At checkout. No card is collected on this page. |
| What you get | Access to the 3200 prompts, 640 kits and six companion documents as downloadable Markdown and PDF files, plus revisions published while your subscription is active. |
| Cancelling | Cancel any time in the customer portal (Polar runs it, and the link is in every receipt and renewal email). Access continues to the end of the period you've paid for. Files you've downloaded are yours to keep under the licence. |
| Refunds | 30 calendar days from any payment, including renewals. Full refund, no form and no reason required — even if you downloaded and used everything. Email hello@seconddraft.dev from the address you paid with, or read the refund policy in full. Polar processes the refund back to your original payment method. |
| Weekly drops | Five new prompts into one business type, one workplace template, and one tool, published every week while your subscription is active. Each drop is added to your library. If a drop is late, you'll be told it's late rather than quietly skipped. |
| Revisions | Existing prompts are revised and dated when they change, including when a drop exposes a weakness in an older one. |
| Requests | Subscribers can suggest tasks. Requests are reviewed for recurring need; not every suggestion becomes a prompt. |
| Licence | One business, unlimited internal use including staff. No reselling or republishing the library. |
The limits, in plain words
- Files, nothing installed. There are no integrations, no automation and no dashboards, and nothing connects to your accounts.
- Email support for the files. The setup session is a guide you run yourself: no scheduled call, no coaching.
- No performance claims. Nobody has measured time saved, revenue or accuracy for your business, and a prompt can't make a decision for you.
- Administrative drafting only. Health prompts handle admin; legal and accounting prompts are drafting aids; construction prompts don't assess safety or code compliance.
How it's maintained
Prompts get revised when a model change, a customer question, or a review makes them weaker. Each revision carries a date so you can see what changed and when. Examples are re-checked at the same time. We don't claim any prompt works identically across every AI tool — the prompts are written to be pasted into the tool you already use, and the wording carries across reasonably, but you should expect to adjust.
Subscriber reviews are read for the same reason: a prompt that didn't work in a real business is a prompt to fix. How reviews are collected and published, including the critical ones.
